Reinvented 10 years old legacy system with user-centric design and compatibility with latest technology such as responsive web and mobile first.
Pain points
Existing thick client application had issues with disjointed experience between business user and consumers, as a result sale opportunities are lost. Poor maintenance and inflexible architecture over time accrued redundant business rules and workflow.
Project outcomes
Dealers are now able to accessing browser-based application to showcase vehicle models and parts on showroom floor via tablet. The seamless customer journey has increased the engagement between customers, dealers and the brand.
Role: UX Design Lead / UI / Front end designer
Hold UX workshops and been a facilitator in UX workshops to guide business owners to discuss the features, flows, add-ons, and business value
Illustrate user journey map to identify the pain points and did mystery shopping to analyse user behaviours.
Run through business & competitors analysis and pinpointed business requirements and personas type.
Determine minimum viable products by using card sorting and 2/2 diagram (must/nice to have).
Create interactive wireframe to gather consensus from dealers and business.
Design prototype to cater for branding guideline and user needs.
