As a UX designer driven by a passion for cybersecurity, I specialise in creating seamless and secure digital identity solutions that empower users while protecting their data. With hands-on experience in both UX/UI design and front-end development, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise and user-centred design thinking to every project.
My unique cybersecurity journey began with a major telco in Australia, where I led digital transformation initiatives in digital identity verification and authentication systems, focusing on balancing security with usability for both consumers and small business - —effective identity & verification (ID&V) solutions must strike the right balance between protecting user data and providing a smooth, intuitive experience. From improving passkeys adoption, to streamline sign-up experience and optimising ID verification success rates via DVS Australia (document verification service), I bring a systems thinking approach to my design work, ensuring that every solution fits within the larger security ecosystem and aligns with data protection regulations.
I’m a firm believer that cybersecurity should never compromise usability—if security is too complicated or inconvenient, users won’t adopt it. That's why I combine my cybersecurity expertise, including certifications in Cybersecurity Fundamentals at UNSW and Human Factors in Cybersecurity at La Trobe University, with a deep understanding of human-centred design to create solutions that protect users without adding friction.
I'm continuously learning from cybersecurity experts, attending industry conferences, and staying up-to-date on emerging cybersecurity trends, as well up-skill my UX skills to ensure my designs are both forward-thinking and grounded in real-world user needs.
